Nikki Goeser and Dr. John Lott testified before the Colorado Senate Judiciary Committee against Senate Bill 23-170, which would strengthen the state’s red flag law by allowing district attorneys, educators, and health care professionals, including mental health providers, to seek the order from courts. Dr. Lott also testified on Senate Bill 23-168, which seeks to allow gun victims to sue firearms manufacturers and gun dealers, and Senate Bill 23-169 on raising the legal age for purchasing a firearm from 18 to 21.
