The gun-grabbing left’s war on the Second Amendment has just reached a new low in San Jose, California. On Tuesday, the anti-gun radicals on the city council voted to force gun owners to obtain liability insurance and pay a yearly fee to practice their Second Amendment right.
In the city of about one million people, the insurance requirement would affect the around 55,000 households which are believed to own firearms. Mayor Sam Liccardo believes the requirement will encourage those citizens to have gun safes, install trigger locks, and take gun safety classes.
