According to a report by the South Florida Sun Sentinel, Florida could potentially become the 22nd constitutional carry state in the country.
Per the Sentinel report, Constitutional Carry is a “priority” for the Republican-controlled state legislature.
Republican State Representative Anthony Sabatini already introduced HB 103, Florida’s Constitutional Carry legislation. This bill would repeal the concealed carry permit requirement that is imposed on otherwise lawful Floridians. In a similar vein, open carry without a permit would also be legalized by Sabatini’s bill.
